There is a multitude of Teeth Whitening Products available over-the-counter (OTC). The most popular ones at the moment seem to be Crest Whitestrips, though other brands are available. Whilst you may be able to get better ones from your dentist, buying over the counter will obviously be a cheaper option for you.
Remember that you very much get what you pay for with cosmetics products, and that rules applies as much to teeth whitening as it does to hair extensions. These products can give good results, but it may be worth remembering that everyone reacts different and the time taken may vary from one person to the next.
We have bleaching trays that are not moulded to your teeth (that would be more expensive, and the kind of thing you would get at a dentist). The home bleaching trays don’t necessarily give you even coverage so you need to use very carefully as you could end up with uneven cover. It is generally no recommended to go for non-mouldable trays.
Don’t forget that the first thing you should do on your quest for whiter teeth is to buy a decent toothbrush and change it every 3 months as dentists recommend. Look after your tooth brush, use it regularly and correctly and you’ll be a lot closer to those amazing white teeth at a fraction of the cost. If you have a bit more cash you might want to go for an electric toothbrush, which themselves come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. The jury is out as to how effective electric toothbrushes are over ordinary toothbrushes, but it is certainly something to consider. The can give a more even clean, which can be a problems for some people. People have also been recommended them if they brush their tooth too hard with an ordinary toothbrush which can wear away at enamel.
Other OTC at home teeth whitening products include strips, gels and various levels of tray systems. The best thing to do is to research around what is given the best results from a number of sources. Ask around your friends and family and see if there are any products that they use, as there is nothing better than a personal recommendation.
So there are lots of options to consider for OTC at home teeth whitening. If you pick a product it is worth giving it a chance to give you the results you want as cheaper systems may take longer. It is also worth remembering that a more expensive dental treatment may cost less in the long run that forking out repeatedly for teeth whitening kits.
